5,Character: It is white crystalline powder. It's easily deliquescent and tastes salty. PH value of 1mol/L agueous solution is 7.0-9.0. Relative density (d25) is 1.570.Melting point is 292ºC.It's highly soluble in water (235g/100mL,20ºC;492g/100mL,62ºC), ethanol (33g/100mL) and methanol (24.24g/100ml,15ºC),but insoluble in ether.

6,Usage: It is used as buffering agent, neutralizer,preservative and color fixative to

protect natural colors of animals and plants.

7,Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer, anda compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.

8,Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation, unloaded with care so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
