1. Chemical name: sodium hexametaphosphate
2. Molecular formula: (NaPO3)6
3. Molecular weight: 611.77
4. CAS: 10124-56-8
5. Properties: Colorless transparent glass flake or quicksand crystalline powder. Soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether. Hygroscopicity is very strong, exposed to the air can gradually absorb water and become viscous. The aqueous solution can form soluble complexes with metal ions such as calcium and magnesium. The melting point is 616C (decomposition), and the relative density is 2.484g/cm3 (20C).
6. Uses: Used as quality improver, pH adjuster, metal ion chelating agent, binder and expansion agent. In beans, canned fruits and vegetables, and bean paste fillings, it can stabilize natural pigments and protect food color; in canned meat, it can emulsify fat and maintain uniform texture; when used in canned meat and meat products, it can improve water holding capacity and prevent fat. If it goes bad, it can be added to beer to keep it from becoming cloudy along with the liquor. It is a water softener with excellent water quality and no precipitation.
7. Packaging: Inner lined with polyethylene plastic bag, outer layer in composite plastic woven bag, net weight of each bag is 25kg. 8. Storage and transportation: This product should be stored in a dry, ventilated and clean warehouse. When loading and transporting, it should be handled with care to prevent damage to the package, prevent moisture and heat, and prevent rain and moisture during transportation. It should be isolated from toxic substances.
